Observations & Sub Programs

The HEXOS observational program will characterize these template objects using a major capability of HIFI and PACS to provide complete spectra of sources. As these objects represent the primary examples of what can be expected in the far-infrared band, they will define this spectral region for the coming decades.

The HEXOS program is divided into several subprograms related either to the given template object or to a particular science goal. E. Bergin is the overall coordinator of the program.
